Stress is a normal reaction that comes from our evolutionary past. The so-called “fight or flight” reaction served our ancestors well, but in our times it is triggered too often by emotions, simple problems, and situations that pose no threat. The grinding pace of modern life streams with repeated “stressors” that build up. Our body reacts to the stress as it distracts our minds and affects our health for the worse.We know when we’re “stressed-out,” because it’s a loud and simple message—we’re slowly killing ourselves.

Where stress affects our bodies ?
A healthy heart is a big concern for everyone and stress can be the most dangerous here. It increases our blood pressure, placing an extra strain on the whole of our bodies’ circulatory system.
The risk of heart attack, stroke or blood clots is important to our heart, brain and blood systems. High blood pressure / hypertension is the ‘silent killer,’ but the strain may go unnoticed. However for people who fail to understand that hypertension / high blood pressure are a sign of medical assistance.

However, stress hits on every part of our bodies and the medical profession is of significant concern. For example, the development of stress hormones, mainly cortisol, could lead to physical harm throughout the body and should be regulated.

How Stress Affects the Modern Society?
It may become troublesome to have anxiety, lack of motivation, anger issues, depression, and anti-social behavior. Drugs, alcohol and cigarettes are a bad way to deal with it and they contribute to tension more frequently. The downwards spiral ruins personal relationships and jobs, and physically manifests as illness as long-term stress progresses. High blood pressure, which contributes to heart disease over time, is the most common outcome.
In the analysis reported by the APA, three major factors are currently noted. The presidential election, healthcare, and mass shootings were among these.
By the way according to researches done by health sectors ,Seventy percent of respondents were worried about mass shootings, which raised their stress level. Nearly 70% were worried about healthcare and whether it will be open to them in the future. Young adults were not overwhelmingly concerned with their health issues.

So How We Can overwhelm This ?
The APA has proposed ways for each of us to do better to handle the stress caused by the confusion that is now in our lives. Simple stuff can add up to significant improvements in our wellness and perspective on life.
1)Dream of previous accomplishments.
In the past, you have undoubtedly overcome traumatic situations – and you have lived! Give credit to yourself. Think about the helpfulness you did during the incident and what you may want to do this time differently.
2)Create new capacities
If life is reasonably quiet, try things out of your comfort zone. Taking chances, from meeting a demanding boss to trying a new sport, allows you to build confidence and skills that are useful when life goes off course.
3)Be Thankful to Yourselves
“Some people are more unpredictable than others, so do not beat up if your unpredictability tolerance is less than a friend’s. Remember that the unpleasant situation will take time to be resolved and in the meantime, be careful with you.
4)Seek encouragement from others you have confidence in
.When they’re stressed or concerned, many people isolate themselves. But it is necessary for social support to reach families and friends.
